A busy, successful and long-standing automotive shop has an opportunity for an Automotive Technician or Apprentice to join their team. Offering top wages, benefits and a flexible schedule allowing for a 4 or 5 day work week. Ideally suited for an experience mechanic who would like to pick their own days off and enjoy the perfect weekend!

About the Role:
> Full-time, long-term, year-round career roles (2 positions available)
> Flexible schedule. 5 days a week preferred with an potential of a 4 x 10 hour shifts for the right candidate (aka: a 3 day weekend!)
> Competitive wage starting in the range of $35+/hour based on skills and experience. Also has a position available for a Senior Automotive Technician which offers a higher wage.
> One apprentice position is also available.
> All shop tools will be provided - a very well equipped shop with the latest technology.
> Perks included optional extended health benefits and educational allowances so you can grow your skills and your income.

The Perfect Candidate:
> Licensed service technician, apprentice or someone with strong car mechanic skills or related background.
> Specialized in imports ideal - training can be provided.
> Experience in the maintenance of both Standard and Automatic Transmissions.
> Experience with diesel engines, brakes, steering and suspensions.
> Experience with Electrical and Electronic Systems very beneficial.
> Valid drivers license preferred.
> Mechanically inclined and good with tools.
> Resourceful problem solver by nature.
> Physically fit and able to work on your feet all day.
> Eager to learn and happy to work hard alongside a strong, experienced team.

Responsibilities include:
> Maintain and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
> Work efficiently to diagnose problems and complete repairs.
> Communicate challenges and needs to the leadership.
> Ask questions and continuously grow your knowledge and skills (training provided).
> Work well with others and contribute to the success of the team.
